Welcome to the Tatanka Chistinapida Oyate Wayawa Tipi Headstart and Nursery Program. Our main objective is to empower you and your child to improve spiritual, emotional, mental and physical aspects of your lives. The Tatanka Chistinapida Oyate Wayawa Tipi Headstart and Nursery Program we offer combines early childhood education with language, cultural teachings, parent programs, community resource access, and field trips with your child.

All 6 components of Head Start and Nursery are implemented on a daily basis. We strive to provide your children and your family with the knowledge, skills and empowerment that you need.

In the 2014/2015 year, we had 44 registered students in Head Start, aged 3 and 4. 24 of these students will be going on to Kindergarten in the following year, and 20 students will be going on to Nursery.
