On December 20, 2016, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation held our annual Community Christmas Dinner. This dinner takes quite a bit of effort and coordination on behalf of all SVDN staff and requires several volunteers. We are proud and thankful for all involved and feel it was once again a huge success. Many Sioux Valley community members look forward to this dinner as a way to sit down and share a meal together as a community, looking back on the year we’ve had and the year to come. We even had a visit from jolly old Santa Claus, who brought some early gifts for the youth in our community. He handed out presents and even took photos with the children…and even a couple of our SV Council members (Elton Taylor and Jennifer Bone) got their pictures with Santa. Thank You to all SVDN staff and volunteers that made this all possible for another year.
