SVDN Federal and Provincial Announcements (09.22.18)

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation will be hosting The Honourable Carolyn Bennet, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, as well the Honourable Eileen Clarke, Manitoba Minister of Indigenous and Northern Relations, and several dignitaries from the Canadian and Manitoba Government and Regional Officials.

This event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Sioux Valley owned Petro-Canada, a ribbon cutting ceremony for Dakota Tiwahe Services and the official signing of the Tri-Partite Framework Agreement for Reconciliation Arrangements.

All SVDN community members are invited to attend.

Location : Dakota Valley Petro-Canada – Highways 1 and 21

Start Time : 2:15 p.m at Petro-Can to 4 :30 PM at Veterans Hall

All SVDN Citizens and Departmental Staff who attend the Ceremonies at Veterans Hall will be entered into a draw for 3 pairs to Jets-Knights Game (January 15, 2019)
